Card numbers never touch our server
When you order: your name, email address, billing address and phone number, plus the items you bought. The billing address is needed to ship physical kits and for our records. If a cart contains only digital downloads, no address is asked for.
When you message us: the content of the message plus your name and email, so we can reply and handle a return or a color preference question.
When you join our newsletter: your email address and nothing else. Leave at any time using the link in every email.
Automatically: our hosting provider keeps standard server records (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and uptime. We do not build advertising profiles from this.
Card details are handled by our payment processor. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and a few digits for reference — not the card number, expiry or security code. Those never sit on our server.
Only the services needed to run the store: our hosting provider, our payment processor, the shipping carrier (name, address and phone for the label) and our email service for receipts. We do not sell or rent customer data.
Order records are kept while we are required to (in the U.S. that is typically several years for sales records). Messages stay in our inbox until the conversation is finished. Newsletter signups stay until you unsubscribe.
Everything we set is functional: keeping your cart, remembering the checkout session and protecting forms from spam. There are no advertising, retargeting or third-party analytics cookies here.
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete things we are not required to keep. Unsubscribe from the newsletter any time. Send the request through the Contact page so we can check it is you.
This store is aimed at adults planning trips and gifts. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
